Turtles and Ducks and Swans (oh my)

This weekend the Bubs and I were having mega (like mega) cabin fever. We needed out. We didn't care what we did as long as we were outside. Being that it was mid March on Long Island outdoor activities are kind of limited. So with bread in hand (and a Bub, can't forget him) we headed down to the ducky pond.

we came across this lovely couple who were also enjoying the day at the pond

Bub & I started to feed the ducks (he also brought some swedish fish to feed the Leonora's. Leonora's love swedish fish this time of year).

Yep guys I'm wearing a parka in the middle of spring. Apparently spring didn't get the memo that it was supposed to be here by now. Glad it's running fashionably late. Not like I wanna bust out my wicked cute 3/4 sleeved cardigans or anything. No no really I love wearing down comforters as fashion in the middle of spring...

But then the paparazzi came and ruined my mojo (hate it when that happens, dont you?)

By the way, don't bother feeding the Turtles because the bread just ends up ricocheting off their shells. Who knew?

...and don't tell Bub but this guy was totally giving me "the eye". That "come hither" stare. That "hey baby, what's your sign?" sneer. (by the way its Taurus, thanks for asking)

How was your weekend loves <3

  3. You and Amy are cracking me up.
    Fun times.
I call Charlie "Bub". I have NO clue where I got the name.
At least you look cute wearing down and the ducks didn't mind you had feathers on your back :)

  4. Easy there Amy H. I'm not so easily duped. Besides, I'd get suspicious if she started spending more time at the ducky pond without me. That's right, 27 years old and I said ducky pond...

@Lindsay, Nice job noticing the irony in the down jacket. I wish I thought of it.
