Valentines day is almost here! I wanted this weeks friday freebie to include something "valentines day appropiate"

I hope you all dig hearts.

Just open up this blog post on your phone, tap the image with your finger (so it opens at full size) then press and hold and save it to your phone's camera roll! Please remember these are for personal use only, let's all play nice and use them for just that :) artwork can not be copied, used or produced.

Also to stick with our valentines day theme today I think I'll share a very sweet and romantic conversation that Bubs and I had the other day

Bubs: We don't have a song, right?
Me: *blinks*
Bubs: *cringe*
Me: Naw Steve, we've just been dating for 5 years but we don't have a song or 3.
Bubs: I knew immediately when those words left my mouth that I was going to regret asking this. Why do I do these things to myself?
Me: I'm not saying you have to show up tomorrow with a dozen yellow roses and some swedish fish, but I am saying that I wouldn't hate it.

sigh.

Love is in the air! Valentines day DIYs

((follow me on insta gram! @yellowheartart))

ahhhh love. Who doesn't love getting all mushy and junk on valentines day?

Now I know its january, and I know you all are like "Ok, didn't christmas JUST happen homegirl?"

and you're right, it totally did.

But if you wanna make it a DIY valentines day then you gotta start preppin soon! Or else your hunny is gonna end up with another macaroni necklace made by you (I mean really, how much rigatoni bling bling can one person own?)

so I scoured my faves on pinterest and brought you all these lovelies DIY tutorials!

ok, Amy is the shiz. She has 2 kids and *still* manages to find time to make all these cute DIY crafts, take photos of said DIY craft and blog about it.

She is my american idol.

IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THIS GARLAND:
• hang from your ceiling
• use the felt hearts from this tutorial as fun "hang tags" to tie around your other valentines
• make a super "mini" version of these and wrap around your kraft paper packaging.

Please sir, I want sa-more (ok, lame joke)
Wanna know why these are more epic than smores?

Well, cause they're pink (duh)

IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THESE SMORES:
• cut into individual servings, place into paper bags, and give out to the kids in your child's class as eadible valentines
• Cut them out using a heart shape cookie cutter and give them to your hunny

I'm sorry, does this NEED a follow up explanation?!

HOLY to the COW.

Screw an engagement ring, I am totally ok with someone popping the question to me and handing me this lil fella after I squeal YES YES YES!

IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THIS SUPER HERO POP:
• Um, it's awesome, there really are no other suggestions you need here people.
• Put this guy on top of blue frosted cupcakes with mini marshmallows as "clouds" so it looks like hes "soaring" over the sky

Mint + White chocolate = a party in my mouth.

IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THESE POPS:
• Since they are on a stick you can make it a cake pop/lollipop combo
• Stick a bunch into a Styrofoam ball that is sitting on top of a vase so it makes a fun v-day centerpiece bouquet
• Make mini "Name Flags" and wrap around the stick to be used as "seat holders" for your guest for your valentines day party.
