Works in Progress! The wedding edition

I'm sure you have all heard me talk about Lauren here on the 'ol blog before. She's my "share the beauty" partner in crime! (Yes yes I know I have been a major slacker in my "share the beauty" posts. Truth is home gurl doesn't even have any time in her schedule to pee) (side note: Do you know how much time we spend wasting just using the bathroom?) (Like, can we find a way to eliminate that?) (road trips would be way more fun with no pit stops at sketch trucker stations)

But when she approached me about fancy-ing up her wedding blog I was all like "hell to the yeah"

She wanted something modern, clean and elegant. Her colors are black, white and gold (can we get any more classy?) (my wedding is going to be so obnoxious) (sorry mom)

tah-dah.

thats whats up.

I am so happy for you Lauren!

If you wanna stalk keep up with Lauren's wedding you can check out the wedding blog here.

Works in Progress Wednesday! The "Vintage" edition

I love love LOVE this branding that I did for Chris over at Lane and Luxe Soapery.

She wanted a vintage "carnival" feel with a ton of detail and texture.

I present, Le Logo (I like putting "le" in front of things, makes me feel fancy)

and no logo is complete with out an etsy shop banner as well!

Also need swanky business cards to give out to clients!
(the blurred out parts are so that Chris' personal info isn't all out there in cyber land)

Finally, I present to you, Le Shipping Label

waddya you guys think? Do you love or do you love?

Thank you Chris for having me be a part of your shop branding! Can not WAIT to see these bad boys in the flesh <3

Works In Progress Wednesday! The "Nerdy" Edition

Whats super awesome about having an etsy shop and being a graphic designer is that I get to work with some really rad folks.

I have done designs for quite a few blog headers and etsy shop banners. What I love the most is that I get to be a part of these peoples little homes on cyber space by having my artwork live there! It never gets old and its a pretty fab feeling.

Check out the latest designs I made for Kristina. She is the lovely blogger over at the nerdy sewist.

She loves blue, green, and anything nerdy.

She is also new to the sewing world and wanted that to be the focal of her designs.

 What do you guys think?

(homegirl's logo)

(homegirl's new blog header)

(and finally her suh-weet cards from moo! oh yeah, her phone number has been blurred out to prevent Kristina from waking up to creepy "hey baby, what you wearin'" phone calls at circa 3am)

I am so in love with this theme-thank you Kristina for allowing me to be a part of your branding!

Mila Rose Designs Gets New Branding! (by moi!)

I absolutely adore Melis from Mila Rose Designs.

and I absolutely adore all things that are created with the color combo gray and yellow. Like oooOoOOo I don't know this beaut below...

I stalked this headband for-frekkin-evah. I added it to my faves. I would go to it at least 5 times a day and just stare at it longingly and imagine that it was in my hair and not Melis' (no offense girl you totally rock it and all but it needed to live on my head stat)

so I contacted Melis and she agreed to a trade! (holla!)

I got said headband, and I revamped her current branding!

aaaaand cue logo now:

...didja notice that the silhouette in her logo is actually HER?! HA! how fun is that? I love how it shows off Melis' personality AND her product of fun lil fluffy flower goodness.
aaaand cue etsy banner now:

Melis and I both agreed that adding her signature "fluff" to her etsy shop banner added the right amount of "girly" and "fun" to her brand.

In case you were wondering, yes her tagline "be pretty" rings true for her shop. Check out Melis' signature looks below!

The Mini (pssttt this is the image I used to make Melis' logo!)

She even makes gorgeous cowls for those cold winter days that are slowly creepin' up on us!

are ya hooked yet?

Thank you so much Melis for letting me be a part of Mila Rose Designs!
